Riber call this a whitewater tourer , which is very misleading, the shape is roughly based on older style whitewater general purpose kayaks, so ideal for teaching in at a club. It is designed not to go in a straight line which therefore makes it NOT a tourer and it has sliding adjustable footrests and moulded in thighbraces which are ideal for club use but not for any serious whitewater. However whitewater means learning to roll and paddle strokes and yes this kayak is ideal for that. I would ignore manufacturers weight claims and say person up to about 13 stone max as any bigger and they most probably won’t manage to get in the kayak, really it is ideal for teenagers and small adults.
