the Kortex is the latest helmet from Crewsaver , it doesnt look very different to the previous model torkel but it is very different inside and the way it adjusts, as it has the modern dial in adjustment system . Available in 2 colours and 2 sizes small/medium and large /extra large. Please note Yak and crewsaver are the same company. This has the CE marking for a watersports helmet, so considered suitable for most watersports, traditionally kayak clubs and centres have been the largest buyer and user of helmets, however dinghy sailing schools are catching on that the boom hitting the head is actually very likely, therefore wearing a helmet sailing is actually possibly more important than wearing one kayaking on a lake
